JEWTOPIA in Chicago!

JEWTOPIA has played in Chicago and played in Los Angeles for fifteen months and over 300 straight sold out performances.

JEWTOPIA made it's World Premiere on May 8th, 2003 at The Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood. Expecting to run for six weeks JEWTOPIA quickly caught on and continued playing to sold out audences until August of 2004.

JEWTOPIA closed in Los Angeles on August 1st, 2004 where the production was moved to the Westside Theatre in New York City.

JEWTOPIA is the very first show in the history of Los Angeles Theatre to SELL OUT 300 Performances in a row making it the longest running show in the history of Los Angeles Equity Waiver Theatre!

JEWTOPIA has now been seen by over 200,000 PEOPLE and counting!!

JEWTOPIA tells the story of two 30 year old single men, Chris O’Connell and Adam Lipschitz. Chris, a gentile, wants to marry a Jewish girl so he’ll never have to make another decision. Adam Lipschitz, a Jew, wants to marry a Jewish girl to please his family, but can’t get a date to save his life. After meeting at a Jewish singles mixer, Adam and Chris form a secret pact. Chris promises that he will help Adam find the Jewish girl of his dreams and show him “Jewtopia”, but only if Adam will help Chris shed his gentile-ness and bring him undercover into the Jewish world. Stereotypes collide, Cultures clash and chaos ensues!
